Renowned activist Boniface Mwangi arrived back into country on Monday after a trip to the United States of America.
Boniface Mwangi revealed in a tweet the business he had gone to conduct in New York, saying that he had gone there to procure himself make- up that he intends to use in an upcoming photographic series.
He announced that he was going back to his career as a photographer full-swing.
Mr Mwangi will later leave for Tunisia in North Africa where he will do a speaking gig.
"Back home after a 36hrs dash to New York City to pick make-up for a new photo series am working on. Heading to the studio for a billboard photoshoot (yeah, am back to photography) then to Tunisia tonight for a speaking gig. If you’re in Tunis and you need a copy of my book, DM, " his tweet read.
The activist has won a number of global accolades for his work in photography.
He captured disturbing images of the 2007-2008 post election violence; images that were used by the international media.
He has been a strong critic of President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration, calling it out for rampant corruption.
About a month ago, Mr Mwangi was arrested for reportedly planning a revolution.
