Nyamira County Commissioner Amos Mariba has said men chasing young women including disabled girls for sex are right candidates for jail.
Mariba, while speaking in Nyamira town on Saturday, said two men who were arrested for having sex with minors will be sent to jail to serve as an example to other men with similar intentions.
"We have two men in custody one was arrested in Omogonchoro where he dragged a disabled girl into a tea farm and raped her while another 24-year-old man was nabbed at Ogango for also luring a minor into his house raped her. The suspects will be arraigned in court to be charged," he assured.
The county security boss confirmed that there will be no mercy for men turning themselves to be hyenas.
"We are not going to have mercy on men chasing young school girls for sex. I will ensure suspects nabbed are sent to jail for the sake of saving our girls," he added.
He warned local elders against defending sex predators who have allegedly been causing havoc in the region.
"Elders should be a the fore front condemning men having sex with minors but not defending them in the exchange of money. We will not tire until we jail these people," said Mariba.
