Gor Mahia fans are an unhappy lot after some of their key players were left out of this year's KPL awards.

This comes after the Kenya Premier League released the list of nominees, for the awards that will take place on October 25. 

Fans were annoyed that even after winning the KPL with six matches to spare, only five of their players were nominated. 

They were particularly angered by the omission of Francis Kahata, whom they felt had contributed a lot to both the club and the national team Harambee Stars.
