A Jubilee Member of Parliament from Gusii region has warned NASA leader Raila Odinga against bringing trouble in Jubilee party ahead of the 2022 polls.
Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi while speaking after the conclusion of Lake Region Economic Block (LREB) on Friday said Raila's entrance into the Jubilee government has turned events within Jubilee party chaotic.
"The former Prime Minister should focus on his Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) with President Uhuru Kenyatta and not derailing DP Ruto's presidency in 2022," he said.
Angwenyi reiterated that Jubilee party will stand firm to ensure Raila's efforts to collapse DP Ruto's plans from vying for the country's top seat in 2022 are halted.
The long-serving MP confirmed that DP Ruto will not be abandoned as claimed by a section of politicians.
"Ruto has the support in the Jubilee party in his bid to become president in 2022. Some uninformed politicians are out to mislead Kenyans that DP Ruto will be abandoned, by who? As party leaders we will stand with DP Ruto," he added.
He urged elected leaders to work hard towards the realisation of development.
