Okoth claims that Uhuru has allegedly continued to ignore young people in terms of government appointments.

Speaking to Highrise residents in Kibera on Saturday, the ODM MP claimed that young people are not part of the Jubilee government.

He accused the president of recycling old politicians in key state appointments.

"The president has completely abandoned and ignored young people when it comes to state appointments," he said.

The MP said that the President refused to consider young people in his latest state appointments.

"We have noted with concerns on how the President deliberately continues to sideline young people in government appointments and want to remind him that young people hold the key to the country's future," he said.

The MP said that Uhuru will taint his legacy if he continues to sideline young people.

Okoth said that there are educated young Kenyans who should be given state jobs instead of the government recycling old and worn out individuals for state jobs.

On Friday, President Kenyatta awarded state jobs to several individuals majority of whom lost in the 2017 general election.
