Oliver Mtukudzi's death is a big blow to a section of Kisii residents who celebrated and loved his songs. the
Residents led by Mike Nyaoga and Steve Rioba eulogized Mtukudzi a music legend who they will live to remember.
"I received news about Mtukudzi death with shock because I have been a great fan for his songs such as Ndakuvara, Tozeza, Ndagara Nhaka, and Ndima Ndapedza'. His death is a major blow but, I will live to remember him forever. Let him shine in Heaven," said Mr. Nyaoga.
Nyaoga appealed to Kisii local musicians to embrace Mtukudzi so that they can remain relevant in the music industry.
Rioba on his part described Mtukudzi as the talented musician who was singing with passion.
"Mtukudzi has died with all his wisdom. His songs were such educating and relieving stress to me. I will miss Zimbabwe's Afro-Jazz legend," said Rioba.
William Onkoba mourned Mtukudzi describing him as a dedicated and hardworking musician who loved his singing job.
"I will load all his songs in my phone memory so that I can be listening when at leisure. He was a great man who will be missed by many," noted Onkoba.
