For a moment on Friday, Timothy Bosire, the ODM treasurer, left mouners in stitches at Joseph Mochere's funeral, Friday.
Mr. Mochere, popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose, committed suicide a fortnight ago over family wrangles.
And at Motagara, Mr. Bosire imitated the former presenter by screaming as the audience went into laughter.
"You all understand how I used to whistle in parliament. That moment we were calling for good leadership.
"Okebiro would also take the message to radio by screaming every morning in our defense. We have lost a hero," he said as fans cracked ribs as Bosire's notorious parliament hard stand was recalled.
The former Kitutu Masaba MP lost to Jubilee's Shadrack Mose, albeit controversially and he has persistently blamed the government for his loss.
In 2016, Bosire caused a stir in parliament when he refused to stand following President Uhuru Kenyatta's order.
The president has requested MPs to pay tribute to soldiers who had been killed in Somalia.
In a later date, Bosire insisted that his decision was guided by Jubilee administration's laxity in compensating families of fallen soldiers.
"How do you expect me to stand when over 10 families from my constituency had not been paid?" he asked.
