Residents of Magenche ward in Bomachoge-Borabu constituency have protested the poor state of Magenche-Nyabiore, Riokindo-Kenyenya and Magenche-Mariba roads.
According to them, the three roads are impassable during this rainy season that is being experienced.
"We elected an MP who is not working. Let him wake up and improve the stated of the roads which have been rendered impassable during this rainy season to ease transportation," claimed Johannes Nyaanga a bodaboda rider.

Kennedy Ombongi, a trader, challenged area MP Prof Zadoc Abel Ogutu and Magenche ward MCA Timothy Ogugu to push for the repair of the roads.
"As the people of Magenche we are angry due to the bad state of our roads. MP Ogutu should engage area MCA to hasten the repair of the roads," Ombongi stated.
Charles Mogaka regretted that Magenche residents' are being taken for granted despite voting for their leaders.
"None of us is enjoying the decision we made. It is high time the lawmaker to move with speed to improve the state of the roads," noted Mogaka.
In a rejoinder, the the MP assured that the roads will be repaired.
"I have taken seriously the concerns from the people of Magenche I therefore, promise that the roads will be upgraded," he said are reported by Egesa FM.
