Elsewhere, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is currently conducting interviews for vacant judges positions in the Court of Appeal (CoA).

The exercise which began on Monday is taking place at the JSC secretariat offices in Re-Insurance Plaza, Nairobi.

A total of 35 judges will be interviewed before July 1, 2019.

A total of 11 judges will be picked after the exercise,  increasing the number of Court of Appeal (CoA) judges to 30, from the current 19.

According to the Judiciary, hiring more CoA judges will fasten the processing of cases all over the country.
