Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen might have been telling the truth, after all, over Cherangany Member of Parliament Joshua Kutuny's involvement in drug trafficking.

This is if a list of powerful individuals in the country allegedly wanted by the International Criminal Police Organization, Interpol, over their links to drug barons, the Akasha brothers, that was shared by controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna is anything to go by.

In a tweet, Miguna shared what he alleged was a letter from the Interpol confirming that Kutuny was among 9 Kenyans among them two governors and a former governs being sought for drug trafficking.

The authenticity of the letter is however not yet confirmed.

Murkomen who is also the Senate Leader of Majority had accused Kutuny of being a drug baron during a live interview on Citizen TV about a month ago.

The vocal Senator noted that it would only be a matter of time before the international authorities would go after the MP over drug dealings.

Allegations against Kutuny came at the time the Jubilee MP, now branded a rebel, alleged that Deputy President William Ruto is involved in an ongoing scheme to incapacitate maize farmers in the nation to create room for his own maize being produced in Congo.
