In the letter whose authenticity is unclear, the artist is cautioned over claims that he's rearing over 40 cows in the region contrary to the rules guiding the residential community.

The letter claims that the area 'is not a farm and that the singer was wrong to keep dairy cows.

"We are happy that you're now one of us. We are however not pleased that you are rearing cows. Karen is not a farm but a residential community.

"We could move to court if this matter is not handled since it breaches our rules. Residents are unhappy after it emerged that you're rearing over 40 cows. We are however happy to have a celebrity living amongst us," reads the letter.

Mr Apoko, who hails from Kitutu Masaba in Nyamira,  Mr Apoko, has vowed to meet the association in court should the claims in the letter be factual.

He insists that the move is illegal.

"I don't fear Karen Residents Association. My cows have not trespassed anyone's property. These are strategies used by the rich to block the poor from becoming rich. Am ready for court," he wrote on Facebook.

A number of his social media fans questioned the authenticity of the letter terming it as a creation for publicity.
