There was drama on Friday at Chisaro primary school in Kisii County after angry parents stormed the school and evicted the school head teacher.
Parents claimed that the school head mistress identified as Moraa should not step in the school.

"We teamed up to protest in the area and later stormed the school to evict the woman who has been lazy since she was transferred to the school. We will not allow her to continue heading the school," said Julius Andama.
Justine Amenya attributed the school's poor results to the poor leadership of the institution.
"The school recorded one of the poorest results in history in last year's KCPE exams where a top scorer managed to score 178 marks. As parents we will not condone the lazy teacher to continue being the head mistress," said Amenya.

Janet Moige said the head mistress will find another school where she will continue serving.
"Her time at Chisaro is up. Let her find an alternative school because she has no space here," he said.
Nyumba Kumi officials led by Simon Ongeri managed to cover up the teacher from parents who were throwing stones at her.
"Parents are being incited to chase her away," said Ongeri.
