Men, before marrying a Kisii lady, you need to be observant if you want a successful marriage.
According to Augustine Nyamote, an elder from Nyatieko area, Mosocho Kisii County, in the Gusii community, a woman is taken to be a pillar in the family (Omokung'u nere enka).
Nyamote says before marrying a Kisii lady, men should the consider the following.
1. Your goals
Every man has goals to achieve. When moving in with a Kisii woman you need to first know if she is the type who will help you achieve your goals because some women may turn to be gold-diggers.
2. Time
Kisii ladies love spending time with their men. As a man, if you can't have time with her please don't waste time she may humiliate you by having another man outside the wedlock. Ensure you devote your time to her and this will keep the marriage strong.
3. Trust
Failing to trust a Kisii lady will be dangerous to any man marrying a Kisii lady. As a man, make sure you trust her and don't doubt her because if you do she will not stay with you.
4. Love
Men, Kisii ladies are romantic so make sure you love her 100 per cent failure to which she will walk away from you.
