Raila who lost to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the polls has since maintained that he won the race but was rigged out, and even proceeded to successfully petition it at the Supreme Court.

Speaking on Wednesday, Miguna who has since fallen out with the former prime minister claimed that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader indeed defeated Uhuru.

He called for an audit of the election exercise, claiming that all the details are contained in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers.

"I saw how the elections were conducted and I knew he (Raila) won and if anyone wants to challenge me as to why I say so let them open the IEBC servers, let’s audit it," he said.

Miguna was speaking on Citizen TV's JKL show on Wednesday night.

However, he once again lashed out at Raila for entering a truce with Uhuru after snubbing the October 26, 2017 rerun that granted Uhuru an easy win.

Miguna said that Raila should have stood his ground against Uhuru, having won, and should not have involved himself in the handshake which brings him out as a weak party.

"If you are right and if you win an election you should never surrender to the person who has not won just because he has guns or he has more money," he added.

Miguna participated in Raila's mock presidential coronation on January 30, 2018, where the former premier took an oath as the people's president.
