Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has once again hit out at his sworn enemy and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In his latest bashing on the Head of State, Miguna has accused Uhuru of heavy involvement in graft.
In a tweet Saturday, he alleged that Uhuru has stolen about Ksh5 trillion in public coffers and stored it abroad.
He claimed that Uhuru has not been alone in this, but with his family members, cronies and collaborators.
He was responding to a Twitter user who had expressed his support for the proposed referendum on grounds that it will reduce some of the elective seats taking up billions.
The user was claiming that the nation can save up to Ksh5 trillion by scrapping the nominee slots in the three levels of assembly, this being the National Assembly, Senate and County Assemblies.
But according to the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant whoa appears opposed to the referendum, the nation needs to recover its stolen money first.
"Sh5 trillion of public money has been stolen and stashed abroad and trillions' worth of public land have been grabbed by people like Uhuru Kenyatta, his family, cronies and collaborators yet you believe, wrongly, that they will "save" you money. What causes that kind of delusion?" wondered Miguna in a tweet.
The opposition activist has been a thorn in the flesh of Uhuru and his Jubilee leadership since Uhuru's reelection in 2017.
He has gone ahead to criticize him even after his deportation to Canada in February last year, days after swearing in opposition leader Raila Odinga as the People's President.
He claims that he will return to Kenya in April this year.
