His fireworks comes amid ongoing fight against graft with DCI George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji leading from frontline despite jitters from a section of politicians who accuse them of being used in succession politics.

But at Namibia on Thursday, Uhuru assured the Kenyan community in the diaspora  that his commitment to leave behind a united country will not be derailed even by his close friends.

"I also assured Kenyans in the diaspora that the crackdown on graft will continue and that every effort will be made to bring back integrity to the public service. Kenya has great potential but there is need to change practices that hinder our country from achieving progress," said Uhuru.

"If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally but if you are corrupt we will fight you. I won't be clouded by ethnicity or status in my quest to leave behind a united nation and I will continue championing for Kenya's unity," added the Head of State.

His stern warning comes amid rebellion from his deputy William Ruto, who insists that the fight against graft is choreographed by some forces to dent his 2022 political ambitions.

Despite jitters from Ruto and his camp, Uhuru has remained mum, only insisting that he will not take a back sit in what he had started. He has also expressed confidence in DCI and DPP over the ongoing mission.

Several people are facing graft charges in court with DPP closing in the files for Kimwarer and Arror dams where it's alleged that Sh21 billion was paid to the contractor for work not done.
