Despite being human beings like you and me, there is a kind of exemplary lifestyle that pastors are expected to lead.

Some pastors who are supposed to lead the flock are doing the unexpected nowadays - cheating with both single and married women.

Most permit the bodily desires overtake their spirituality and end up committing sins.

The consequences are worse since they even lead to the disintegration of the church and tarnishing their reputation.

Pastors cheat because of the following:

1. Indecent dressing

Pastors have emotions and are prone to seductions and temptations once women are halfway dressed in the church.

Some pastors are afraid of castigating the immoral mode of dressing by women for fear that some might leave the church. Modest dressing is the best.

2. Spending much time with the flock.

Balancing between the family and church matters is an uphill task for many pastors.

Overspending quality time with church members in meetings and conferences without their spouses is a bridge to messing up.

Closeness and sharing emotional conversations with several church members reach a certain degree where cheating is inevitable.

3. Vulnerability

Pastors are also susceptible to fall for a church member just like any other person.

This happens when a member of the opposite sex adulates their shepherd (after good sermons) to an extent where they feel desired.

Pastors susceptible to temptations are swallowed up by the sweet talks at times which end up in intimate affairs.
