There was drama on Wednesday evening in Matieko village, Mosocho, Kisii County after a local chief was given a dog's beating when he sneaked into a woman's bedroom.
Locals who laid a trap on the chief identified as Tom Morema claimed that the administrator has been taking advantage of his position to sleep with people's wives.
"Morema has turned to be immoral since he was named the area chief. We persuaded Elizabeth who he (the chief) has been chasing for sex to host him in her house so that we can catch him up," said Vincent Obae.
Mr. Obae said immediately the chief arrived in the woman's bedroom, they were notified through a text message.
"We stormed the house and found the chief barefooted, wearing a vest and inner wear only a clear indication that he was ready to chew Elizabeth," said Obae.
Stephen Okeyo who doubles as Elizabeth's husband said the chief received a thorough beating from members of the public.
"He pleaded to be forgiven but, none of us was ready to listen to him. We beat him up and warned him against seducing married women," said Okeyo.
