A drunk man shocked his neighbour after he entered her bedroom thinking it was his bedroom.
The incident happened on Thursday evening at Nyangoso in Sameta, Kisii County.
Jackline Kerubo said she was in her bedroom changing clothes after bathing when Protus Orina stormed the bedroom under the influence of alcohol.
"Orina is a notorious drunkard. He entered my bedroom through the back door and found me naked and slept in bed thinking he was in his own bedroom," she said.
Ms. Kerubo noted that she covered herself using a leso before she 'evicted' drunkard Orina from her bedroom.
"I clobbered him and forced him out of the bedroom since I feared his wife will start saying I have snatched her husband," added Kerubo.
A local chief Chris Oroto confirmed the incident and said the woman reported Orina to village elders.
"Elders questioned Orina and he revealed that he confused his house because he was drunk. Residents should stop consuming outlawed liquor more especially chang'aa," said Oroto.
He assured that a crackdown is ongoing to nab illicit makers and sellers.
