Speaking at his office on Thursday when he held a meeting with the Kisii Law Courts presiding Judge Lady Justice Rose Ougo and Kisii LSK branch chair Adv. Wilkins Ochoki, Ongwae said his government is willing to partner with the Judiciary for better service to residents.

"The county is also ready to give land for the Judiciary to build law Courts at Etago to house the current mobile court. There is a need to employ mechanism towards the protection of riparian and public utility land beside the operationalisation of County Municipal law Courts to deal with petty municipal issues," Governor Ongwae wrote on Facebook.

The county boss appealed to residents to turn up in large numbers for a week-long public sensitization week starting on June 24 in Kisii town.

"I urge residents to attend and familiarize with the court procedures and activities and going forward to seek mediation and arbitration as means of conflict resolution to stem case backlog at our law courts," stated the county boss.
