There was a sigh of relief from Kenyatta National Hospital nurses arrested on Wednesday after court saw them released on bail.
The group had been arrested on Wednesday participating in the nurses' strike that began on Monday.
Six were released on a Sh20,000 bail each while another three were each freed on a Sh10,000 bail.
Among the charges against the nurses is causing public havoc and stopping police from conducting arrests.
In the strike, the nurses are demanding that the hospital allows them to be represented by a union of their choice.
