South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has said that NASA leader Raila Odinga is in government.
The youthful MP said Raila is afraid of telling opposition supporters and the rest of Kenyans that he entered government after the historic handshake.
“Raila is in government but he is afraid saying that. He is very influential in government and this makes him to be fully in government,” he said.
The vocal legislator claimed that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga is the reason the country is at peace.
“Political temperatures went down after Raila-Uhuru handshake. We should celebrate the two leaders for putting the interest of Kenyans in their hearts by agreeing to work together,” he noted.
Osoro challenged Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula to stop making unnecessary announcement declaring himself as the official opposition leader.
The lawmaker said Raila remains the opposition leader even after he agreed to shake hands with Uhuru who was his rival during the last year’s presidential polls.
Osoro was speaking on Monday during an interview at Citizen Television.
