Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i is doing a good work to transform the police force, a Nyamira County based politician has said.
Victor Swanya said the introduction of new police uniform is through Matiang'i hard work.
"Matiang'i is doing a commendable job and he should be copied. The introduction of new police uniform is a clear indication that Matiang'i is hard working," he said.
The vocal politician told off leaders who are opposed to police merger saying they should wait for their time to be appointed to serve.
"Matiang'i was appointed to serve the people of Kenya and not some individuals who are opposing him," he added.
Swanya who unsuccessfully vied for the Kitutu Masaba MP seat during the last year's polls said leaders from the Gusii region should embrace peace.
