The angry Duale told off Maraga to concentrate on the main role the supreme court of elections that the constitution gave them.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony in Garissa County, Duale asked Maraga Maraga to respect religion and shun away from religious matters since the constitution prescribes the freedom of worship and religion and Maraga cannot dictate what other religions should wear.

"Muslims do not be frightened by the Supreme Court. Supreme Court is the creation of the Constitution. The same constitution that gives us the right of religion," Duale said.

His sentiments as the highest ranking Government Official to blast Maraga now sends shivers on the constitutional change that has been a hot discussion in the recent times.

The aggrieved Duale told Maraga to look into election matters as the Wajir by-election and forget about religious matters since it is beyond him.

"Concentrate on elections. Forget about religion," added Duale, further stating that, "we believe in God not Maraga and his people."
