Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli has predicted more trouble for former Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa.
This comes after Echesa was fired from his Sports and National Heritage cabinet slot. The former CS has, however, maintained that he was never briefed on his ouster or given official communication on the same.
Atwoli now claims that Echesa will soon be in more trouble after picking a war with him late last year.
He termed Echesa, who is Deputy President William Ruto's ally a disrespectful young man, adding that more problems await him in the future and he will not know peace.
"He will continue seeing trouble, he will go deeper down," said Atwoli during an interview on JKL on Wednesday night.
Atwoli predicted Echesa's fall on January 5 during the funeral service of Lugari lawmaker Ayub Savula's daughter in Lugari, saying that he would be sacked within three months.
He noted that Echesa who is more like his son turned against him with insults and would not enjoy his new elevation.
"How can a boy whom I supported and helped say that I have failed to feed my family? I told him that he would be sacked within three months and it finally happened," he said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is yet to speak on the issue, a week after the sacking.
