Speaking when he led a cleanup exercise in Kangemi on Saturday, Sonko said that he has what it takes to lead the country.

The governor said that with the blessings of Nairobians and Kenyans he can make it to the presidency.

He said that he has a big vision for Nairobians and Kenyans at large.

"We are getting ready for the future and in 2027 Kenyans will have an option," the governor said.

Governor Sonko said that he cannot contest for 2022 since there are more suitable candidates for the seat than him.

Sonko has been quoted saying that he will not seek re-election as Governor in 2022.

The Jubilee Governor game plan remains unclear as he rallies for Deputy President William Ruto to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

Meanwhile, Governor Sonko pledged to work and deliver services to Nairobi people.

He said that his government has passed the 2018/2019 budgetary allocations assuring residents of development.

"We are going to work and deliver what we promised during the 2017 general election campaigns," the Nairobi County boss said.
