Majority leader Aden Duale is widely known across the country as a politician who has had a share of highs and lows both as a national and local politician.
However, what many are yet to know is the fact that the Garissa Township MP is a fully registered teacher by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Aden Duale commenced his career as a professionally trained teacher in the year 1992 when he was first posted to teach as a registered teacher.
His first posting saw him teach at the Sankuri Secondary School from 1992 until 1999 when he quit teaching for greener pastures at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as the director.
From there, Duale gradually recorded progress in his career until in the year 2007 when he ventured into politics and won the Dujis parliamentary seat.
He has since progressed in his political career, and today he is the Majority Leader in the National Assembly.
Being a trained teacher, Duale has reportedly been faulted for ignoring the plight of teachers especially those working at the hardship areas of Garissa, Mandera, Wajir and Lamu counties which have regularly been witnessing cases of insecurity.
