A Jubilee allied Member of Parliament in Nyamira has questioned development record of Governor John Nyagarama.
North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko claimed that Nyagarama will do nothing in the remaining three years despite funding by National Treasury.
"I want to tell the people of Nyamira county for free. Our county government will do nothing for the three years left to 2022 elections.
"Recently I saw ghost workers being sacked from the county government where bodaboda riders have been in the payroll earning salaries without doing any work," said Nyamoko.
He further argued that Nyamira County lacks enough ECDE teachers to help in building the foundation of young kids.
"If we won't have a proper foundation for our children it will be very hard for us," he stated.
The vocal Jubilee MP challenged electorates not to elect a person because of money but, development ideas.
The lawmaker was speaking on Saturday during a fund drive at Milimani SDA in Kiabonyoru ward, Borabu constituency.
Nyagarama has been under pressure to clean the payroll and he has since sacked over 1,000 county government employees.
