Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta not to be scared sacking lazy and corrupt government officers.
The lawmaker while addressing mourners during the burial of the late legendary athlete Mzee Nyantika Mayioro in Kiogoro said corruption is hindering development in this country.
"I wish to assure the President that I'm among those who are behind him and his Deputy in the fight against graft. Let those who have stolen public funds be dealt with in accordance to the law," said the MP.
The Jubilee elected MP slammed politicians who are politicizing graft war to stop.
Tong'i further urged the Head of State to give deaf ears to politicians who have publicly showed anger in the war against corruption.
"Graft war doesn't target any community. Uhuru should ignore such claims," said Tong'i. He urged Deputy President William Ruto and NASA leader Raila Odinga to tolerate each other.
"DP Ruto and former Prime minister recently renewed their political fight. I wish to urge the two leaders to consider working together and help President Uhuru Kenyatta the Big 4 Agenda," he stated.
