A National Super Alliance (NASA) allied Member of Parliament from Gusii region has been disowned ahead of the 2022 general election.
Locals of Borabu constituency on Tuesday while speaking in the constituency claimed that the area MP Ben Momanyi has achieved nothing for the last one year he has been in office.
The constituents asked the MP to prepare for going home in 2022.
"Momanyi has fulfilled none of his promises he made during the last year's polls. We won't continue having a failure in Parliament. Come 2022, we will elect a development-oriented leader even if he will be old," said Timothy Masese.
Peter Mosioma claimed the MP has failed to cater for medical expenses for some of the constituents who have been attacked by jiggers.
"Poverty is at the peak in the region because many people are infested with jiggers and unable to walk. The MP has done nothing to help the victims. 2022 he will see the MP seat on television," he argued.
Robert Nyangaresi, another local, condemned the MP saying the electorates made a mistake electing him.
"We elected Wiper Party and not an MP. The same mistake won't happen in 2022," said Nyangaresi.
