Isaac Onchagwa who unsuccessfully vied for the Kisii County senatorial seat, said people should stop attacking Mrs. Omweri after Okebiro died.

"Egesa FM fans should not use Okebiro's sudden as loophole to slay insults at Mrs. Omweri who worked with Okebiro. We need to know Nancy is not the one who pays Egesa FM workers," he said.

He said unnecessary attacks on the radio boss can't change anything.

"Egesa FM shall not be terrorized, immobilized, characterized, stigmatized, censored, misjudged, mishandled and intimidated for nurturing and for providing a platform for us to know Okebiro had a talent which he had the opportunity and express mandate to fix the talent," he noted.

He urged Ms. Omweri to ignore critics and focus on managing the radio station for the purpose of entertaining and educating the entire Gusii community.
