Busia County Woman Representative Florence Mutua has downplayed claims that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has joined the Jubilee party.
According to Mutua, Odinga is working with President Uhuru Kenyatta on the sidelines of the handshake that brought sanity to the country after along 2017 electioneering period.
"ODM Party Leader happens to be working with President Uhurus Government. Joins Jubilee? No," she tweeted.
The Woman Rep is a close ally of the former Prime Minister is considered one of the latter's ground soldiers in the Western region.
She is a strong defender of Odinga, and is touted as a possible successor of Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong.
Mutua's tweet was in response to the remarks by a netizen named Hilda Muteshi who claimed that people will lack explanations to Kenyans once they realize Odinga has joined the jubilee party.
"Sometimes you can read books, come out excited thinking that you are the smarte'st, that what you studied is what was missing to make the world complete. Until you see #Raila joins jubilee and you lack an explanation, Muteshi tweeted.
