Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o traveled to Malaysia for an international conference.

Speaking on Sunday during a fundraiser at St. Joseph Nyabondo church, Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili noted that his boss had been selected together with four other governors to attend a conference in Malaysia.

"Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o left the country on Thursday to Malaysia where he has been chosen among other four Governor's by the World Bank to attend " International Urban Renewal Conference," read a post shared by Nyong'o's press team.

The deputy county boss who jetted back to the county on Sunday after a week long official trip to India with opposition leader Raila Odinga, assured the congregation of their commitment to make Kisumu realise it's its full potential sentiments that were echoed by most of the leaders present.

Some of the guests who accompanied the Dr Owili to the church function included County Minister of Planning Richard Ogendo, County Minister of Environment Salmon Orimba, Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) CEO Abala Wanga, local MCAs and a host of Kisumu County officials.
