Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has called for the arrest and prosecution of his Narok counterpart Ledamaa Ole Kina.
This is in relation to a controversial video doing rounds on social media where the ODM Senator is captured allegedly abusing Kipisigis women.
Speaking in Eldoret on Friday, Cheruiyot termed Ole Kina's sentiments as a total disrespect to the women of Kipsigis.
The Jubilee Senator demanded that his counterpart publicly apologizes.
“I want to call upon the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to arrest Ole Kina for inciting the public to fight the Kipsigis community and disrespecting our mothers,” said Cheruiyot.
He noted that Senator Ole Kina does not deserve to be even a Ward Representative due to his utterances that are not expected to come from a leader of his calibre.
“We will never be friends whatsoever and I will never call you my colleague unless you publically apologize to the entire Kipsigis community and our women at large,” insisted the youthful Senator.
Cheruiyot also linked the Narok Senator for ongoing ethnic violence in parts of Nakuru and Narok counties and asked the Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and NCIC to summon him to record a statement.
