The controversial legislator was among dozens of MPs who joined Dr Swarup Mishra alias Kiprop in launching the Strategic Plan for his Kesses constituency.

While addressing the crowd in the constituency, Jaguar sang one of his hit song, 'Kigeugeu', with several other MPs joining him on stage as he rocked.

Recently, Jaguar was arrested and charged with incitement, following his utterances that targeted Tanzanians and Chinese people trading in Gikomba.

Days after denying the charges, Jaguar visited Tanzania in solidarity with the neighbours, to vindicate his alleged incitement. His trip to Tanzania was quit though.

At Kesses, Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Shollei, who had invited Jaguar to the stage, insisted that he's confident that DP William Ruto will be president.

"We are planning well and the unity among us is absolutely incredible. We have seven other MPs who are landing here shortly," she said amid cheers.

"As Kenyans, we are sure that this county will produce the next president. It's a guarantee and those opposing should be joining us," she added.

Jaguar is one of few musicians in East Africa to make it to parliament. He defeated nominated MP Maina Kamanda.
