Gospel Singer DK Kwenye Beat has finally broken his silence after he was linked to a sex scandal with a young woman alongside fellow artist Hope Kid in March 2019.
In an interview on Milele FM, the singer said he was sorry for the incident. He asked his fans to forgive him after the incident, which soiled his name.
DK noted that he had to say sorry because his reputation has been tainted after it emerged that he was involved in a threesome. The complainant claimed that she contracted STI after the incident.
“Nilisema pole kwa sababu watu wengi wananiangalia kwenye mifano tofauti. Kuna watu wananiangalia, like their role model and nimewa-inspire kwa njia tofauti…Singekaa tu chini niseme ‘itaisha tu’… Niliaddress na mtumishi wa Mungu mwenzangu Size 8.” (I said sorry because many people were perceiving me from a different perspectives. There are people who look at me like a role model and I have inspired them in different ways. I could not sit and tell myself it will end on its own, I address the matter with sister in Christ Size 8)," he said.
The artist also said that his apology was not received in good faith despite his sincerity on the same. He reminded his fans that he is strong and would stage a comeback in the gospel scene.
