An elected senator allied to ODM party has confirmed that he is supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta in graft war.
Kisii senator Sam Ongeri said President Uhuru Kenyatta should be supported to end the vice.
"Corruption is an enemy to development. For this reason, therefore, I want to assure the Head of State that I'm among those at the front line fighting corruption. Public funds should be used wisely and not ending in some individual's pockets," he said.
Ongeri expressed his anger to politicians engaging in corruption saying Kenyans are tired of the ongoing looting of public funds.
"I feel the same pain poor Kenyans are feeling in deep villagers across the country. It is high time politicians more particularly those holding public offices to use public funds well for the sake of funding development projects and not diverting the money to their own selfish projects," he stated.
He appealed to elected leaders in Kisii County not to condone graft.
"Kisii will develop if elected members of county assembly and MPs will use well the public funds allocated to their respective areas of jurisdiction," he added.
