There seems to be trouble at musician Bahati's EMB records label.
Lately, artists who were signed to the record label have been leaving, the latest one being his manager, Mr. Benard Kioko who confirmed recently that he is no longer working at EMB.
It started early this year when musician Mr. Seed called it quits after claims that his wife had been mishandled.
In an interview with a local FM radio, Mr. Seed confirmed that indeed it was true his wife was treated in a bad way by Bahati's wife in an event during New Year's Eve in Thika.
Before dust could settle, David Wonder also ditched the records label. His reason for ditching EMB was that after Mr. Seed's exit, Bahati gave all the artists an option of leaving the label if they wished to do so and he decided to take that chance.
Weezdom, who was the first signee at EMB stated in an interview with a local station that Bahati's wife is the reason why he left the label.
"Everything was well until someone called Diana Marua came into the picture. She made sure that I exited the record. She made Bahati change on me professionally," he said.
However, Bahati recently took to social media to respond to his critics. In a long Instagram post, he stated that one must be keen to listen to the spirit of God and not get swayed by what he referred to as noise from others.
"Don't doubt God no matter the situation - just one lesson for today (The rest I'll share on a different day when God wills)," reads part of his post.
