KTN has come under attack from Denis Itumbi after they wrongly placed Deputy President William Ruto photo in one of their articles.
The media outlet had attached Dp's Ruto at a past event in the story that is not related to him in any way.
The Secretary of Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications in the Office of the President alleged that KTN was no longer focused in ethical journalism.
He termed the incident as regrettable and of malicious nature.
"Dear @KTNKenya this is no longer journalism. It is regrettable, unfortunate and outrightly malicious. But like DP @WilliamsRuto often says, " There is a God in Heaven ..." Isaiah 22:22 - " "what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open." he tweeted.
It was used on Wednesday in a story titled 'Three US Citizens of Kenya descent charged with supporting ISIS'.
Itumbi has in the past castigated local media outlets for 'unprofessional' dealings stating that their articles were not based on truth, rather fiction pieces.
