A father and his daughter, who is in her early 20s, were on Tuesday arrested by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives in Nakuru.
Jane Wanjiku, 26, and her father Charles Macharia were arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Nanyuki.
"The suspects were found in possession of the deceased’s motor vehicle and other electronics in their house in Gatanga. They will be charged with murder and handling of stolen items," the DCI said in a statement.

A man who was recently murdered in Nanyuki lost his car, a Subaru Legacy, and other belongings which the sleuths found with Wanjiku and her father at their house in Gatanga.
According to the officers, Wanjiku also works as a hotel waitress.
"Detectives acted swiftly on receiving information about the stolen car and laid an ambush. After a short while, the car was spotted being driven to a petrol station in Kirwara, Gatanga and the driver, Charles Macharia, was arrested.The vehicle and all stolen electronics from the deceased recovered," the DCI announced, sharing the suspects' photos on social media.
