In the most recent times, Nandi Hills legislator Alfred Keter has grown politically to become one of Deputy President William Ruto's fiercest critics in the North Rift region.
However, what has lately left tongues wagging is Keter's response to DP Ruto's claim that he comes from the most humble of households.
In a social media post, Keter answered to Ruto that he was equally brought up from a humble background, faulting him for thanking God over his material possessions.
"I equally grew up from a humble background, but I don’t subscribe to the thinking that we thank God because he has made us to have material things like shoes and to have also blessed us to ascend to high political offices, but we have every reason to thank him for the gift of life," Keter wrote in his message.
Coupled with past supremacy battles in the North Rift region, the big question that now comes out from Keter's latest revelation on the alleged humble background is that, is he the next leader of 'hustlers' nation?
Together with Cherengany MP Joshua Kutuny among other Jubilee rebels, Keter has been fighting DP Ruto, blaming him for masterminding crises facing the agricultural North Rift region.
