South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro had a day to forget on Monday after a photo of him eating as children stared went viral.
The first term legislator had completed roofing a house in one of interior parts of the constituency before posting the photos on social media.

But on social media, users from the neighbouring Nyamira did not take his actions lightly with some accusing him of playing politics with poverty eradication.
"If indeed he is humble, he should have started by feeding those hungry kids. Ignore these cheap PR tactics," said Justine Mageto.
Another user Christine Abere added: "We are used with these PR tactics. Kids are yawning, you're happy taking food to just post on social media. So unhelpful."
Mr Osoro, who was elected on KNC party, was once a street boy and has always spoken about his situation as a youth.
He spent most of his life in the streets of Nairobi and Kericho before he was rescued by a good Samaritan.
