Mwangi said, watching arsenal play their maiden football is same as the jubilee administration running the country.

Taking to social media, the renown and fearless human rights defender posted.

"Watching Arsenal play is like watching Jubilee government run the country," Mwangi stated.

According to the human rights activist Boniface Mwangi, regardless of the antics the government is trying to play in the war on graft, it will never win since real monsters are dining with the president in his administration whom he appointed in different state positions.

He posited that, threats and harsh words by the head of state will not deter corruption as the common Mwananchi does not gain from such threats when real 'cartels' are in government.

"No matter Arsenal sexy, passing game, they always lose. No matter Uhuru's threats and high sounding words, Kenya is still very corrupt and the thieves are in President Uhuru's team," Mwangi said.

Mwangi's sentiments comes at a time president Uhuru Kenyatta has said, his administration is determined to win the war on graft terming it a great monster which must be defeated by all.

Speaking during the National Anti Corruption Conference at the Bomas of Kenya, the head of state called on all kenyans to step up and highlight instances of corruption.

"The fight against this monster requires all of us to work together in one common accord. A battalion of 45 Million Strong that makes us one indivisible nation of one people. Similarly, all arms of Government must work together to eliminate this vice," Kenyatta said.

At the conference Kenyatta seemed pointing fingers at the judiciary for issuing injunctions against investigation of corrupt activities.

"Our Courts must stop the practice of issuing injunctions against investigation of corrupt activities. Issuing these orders makes it easier for the Mandarins of Corruption to destroy evidence and intimidate witnesses. Kenyans have spoken, this practice must stop," the President ordered.
