Garissa Township MP Aden Duale on Wednesday hosted two Somalia Members of Parliament at his parliament office in Nairobi.
Duale held discussions with Somalia’s leader of Wadajir Party Mr Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame and Gelle Mursal MP, Somalia Federal Parliament.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed emergence of political parties in Somalia.
They also discussed the need to make existing political parties vibrant.
Duale urged the Somalia lawmakers to work together both the opposition and government.
He said working together will foster stability, security and good governance.
The Leader of Majority in the National Assembly said Kenyan will continue to support peace and stability in Somalia.
“Hosted Leader of the Wadajir Party of Somalia, Mr Abdirahmana Abdishakur Warsame and Hon Gelle Mursal MP, Somalia Federal Parliament at Parliament buildings Nairobi,” Duale tweeted.
“We discussed the emergence of political parties in Somalia and how they can benefit from vibrant existing strong political parties like the Jubilee Party of Kenya,” Duale added in the tweet.
