"It’s time for Africa to get moving and I look forward to working with the team," Odinga said.

On his part, CEO Dr. Mayaki expressed confidence in Raila to accelerate Africa's infrastructure development.

Odinga also attended FEF 2018 forum themed "Disrupting Education" alongside former Presidents Kgalema Motlanthe and Jakaya Kikwete, Ambassador Charles Stith, FEF CEO Amasi Mwela and other participants.

They broke down what steps are needed for collaboration, learning support and solutions for challenges in the education sector so as to make Africa more competitive in the global market place.
