Popular Kenyan gospel artist Linet Munyali alias Size 8 was on Sunday which was mothers’ day left in tears after her husband DJ Mo gave her a romantic surprise while she was shopping at a local supermarket.
In a prerecorded video which was aired at the entrance of the supermarket, DJ Mo not only expressed his deep affection for the ‘Mateke' hitmaker but also celebrated her as a mother in style.
“I want to appreciate you for the things you have been doing for us, Ladasha Wamboi and I. I want to appreciate you as your husband because you have been there for us especially for Ladasha,” DJ Mo stated in the video.
While the video was still playing, Size 8 could not help but burst into tears of joy. It was indeed a pleasant mothers'-day surprise for the mother of one.
The singer, later on, took to Instagram to thank her husband for the surprise and also wished her fellow women a happy mothers’ day.
“Thank you Dj Mo thanks. Woishe this made my heart feel so nice. God you remain faithful. Wacha nikusifu daily. Mothers you are all blessed for those who did not receive earthly recognition and appreciation God has seen your good work nd will reward you himself (sic),” Size 8 posted on her Instagram account.
The 12th day of May is marked as word Mothers’ day where motherhood is celebrated across the world.
