The latter and the rest of his Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) is scheduled to rock fans and revellers at the Moi Stadium in Embu County on the night of December 24.

However, the Tanzanian art morality watchdog Baraza la Sana la Taifa (BASATA) maintains that the 'Kamwambie' hitmaker remains banned from any performance.

Platnumz alias Simba was recently banned from performing both in and out of Tanzania alongside his Wasafi counterpart Rayvanny over their controversial 'Mwanza' track, which is quite explicit.

The body in a recent statement warned the two against performing in the scheduled show, saying that dire consequences await them should they dishonour the ban.

“Baraza linasisitiza kuwa halijawafungulia wasanii hao, pia linawaonya kuacha kutoa taarifa za uongo kabla halijawachukulia hatua kali zaidi.

(BASATA wishes to make it clear that the artistes remain banned and risk tougher penalties if they give false information about the same)," read the statement according to the Nairobian.

In apparent defiance, Diamond who doubles up as the WCB founder and Chief Executive took to his social media platforms to hype up the pending performance.
