This comes barely a week after the county boss landed in the national limelight over alleged claims of a bloated budget, with bizarre allocations in the year 2017/18 budget.

But Nyoro has driven the nail deeper, and is now accusing the county boss of among others, embezzling county funds and infiltrating the treasury.

He added that Waititu has as well been running the county as an individual, apparently secluding him (Nyoro) as his constitutional deputy.

He said that an ongoing audit will reveal more dealings in the county, among them the daily use of Sh2 million in the Kaa Sober program which he said lacks the county assembly's approval.

"Let’s wait for a special audit to empirically provide evidence for the issues that we are talking about including the stalled projects, Kaa sober and World Bank money. Let’s not politicise the issue,” he was quoted by the Nation.

Regarding the budget where some funds were allocated for upkeep of former presidents, he noted that the county boss will have to rske responsibility whether or not he is to blame.

“There are two theories; either money was spent which was not appropriated and in this case then this is right, or the fact that this was a mis-posting or it was inserted, but whatever the case, you (Waititu) you have to take responsibility,” he added.

Waititu has since blamed the budget on his predecessor William Kabogo.
