Villa Rosa Kempinski is one of the best hotels not only in Kenya but also the entire world.
The hotel belongs to businessman Adil Popat, the son of the late Abdul Karim Popat, who went into the history as a leading storied tycoon.
The businessman has an empire that includes other properties such as luxury hotels, engineering as well as financial services.
He is also linked to interests in Mahindra, Renault and Mitsubishi among other car models.
Kempinski has hosted some high profile guests including the former US President Barack Obama among others.
However, the hotel’s general manager did not confirm whether Obama spent two nights at the hotel.
“I cannot confirm if he slept here or not because I am not at liberty to discuss our guests and their stay at the hotel,” said General Manager Manish Nambiar.
“I cannot get into the security details, but this is not the first time we hosted a sitting president.”
The hotel is equipped with different luxurious facilities that make it worth spending your night.
The cost of spending a night at the hotel is considered unaffordable for the low and average class Kenyans.
Guests spend millions to dine and wine there.
