National Resistance Movement (NRM) Kenya leader Dr Miguna Miguna has branded three MPs cockroaches following the approval of the 2018 Finance Bill which cut tax on petroleum products from 16 percent to eight percent.
Miguna who is in Canada said the decision by the three MPs, Aden Duale (Garissa Township/Parliament Majority Leader), Junet Mohamed (Suna East/Minority Whip) and John Mbadi (Parliament Minority Leader) were a disgrace to Kenyans over their relentless push to have the Bill passed in its entirety.
"Those blaming John Mbadi, Junet Mohamed and Aden Duale are intellectually dishonest," the outspoken lawyer said in a tweet.
"These three cockroaches are owned by Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and William Ruto. Be courageous. Blame and fight against the Despotic trio: Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and Willia Ruto for 8% VAT!"
The Bill has already been signed into law by President Uhuru Kenyatta, a move heavily criticized by Kenyans.
MPs opposed to its passage plan to challenge the legislation's constitutionality in the High Court.
There was fracas in Parliament for the better part of Thursday as MP lobbied either for the rejection or the passage of the proposed law.
Duale, Mbadi and Junet are Parliament leaders who MPs blame for the forceful passage of the proposed law which they describe as "bad" for the poor Kenyans.
